Good Morning,
This is a call for requests for BFET 100% carry-over funds. If you anticipate needing 100% funds for FFY 2017, please let me know by COB on Wednesday, September 7th. DSHS is anticipating that the funds will be available prior to the start of Spring quarter. There will be no initial 100% funding awarded for FFY 2017.

I will need to know how much you are requesting for each of the following categories: tuition and administrative services, including indirect. By way of reminder, none of the carry-over funds can be used to cover expenses prior to their release. You will not need to revise your BFET budget, at this time, as that will be done once the funds are awarded.  Please remember to request only what you think you will spend.

DSHS will be sending the request to FNS the week of September 12th and requests received by SBCTC after the September 7th deadline will not be considered, so please send in your numbers as soon as you have them.

Regarding the ability to receive reimbursement for indirect costs: DSHS has agreed to allow these expenses to be covered through your BFET 50/50 funds, as well. This will allow you to recoup some of your indirect costs prior to the release of the 100% carry-over funds. We will let you know how to handle this in your budgets once the FFY17 BFET contract and funding levels are finalized.
